Fussy Eaters
Naturediet was developed originally (in 1976) as a clean, wholesome diet for dogs. Over the years we have developed a reputation as a great choice for fussy eaters or those who struggle with lots of other dog foods.
Today is no different, our in house team of developers are dog nutrition experts maintaining those same values.
Feel Good with Rice
Our staple 'Feel Good' diet is a great choice in most cases - a limited natural ingredient diet, steam cooked and with a soft texture for easy digestion.
Feel Good Grain Free
If you suspect that your dog has an intolerance to all grain, including rice, the grain-free diets are a good option to consider.
Grain free is lower in fat than the Purely range so are a better choice for dogs with grain-sensitivities which also struggle with keeping weight off.
Purely 92% Protein
Limited ingredient recipes, perfect for dogs with intolerances or those who are on elimination diets. Purely is simply 92% meat, topped up with vitamins and minerals.
A nutrient-dense option, also beneficial if a dog struggles to hold their weight.
Common Questions
Naturediet is a great choice for fussy eaters because its recipes are packed with at least 60% high-quality meat and fish, making them naturally tasty and satisfying.
Each meal is steam cooked to gently lock in nutrients while preserving the natural flavour and aroma of the ingredients. This careful cooking process helps maintain the rich taste dogs love, without the need for artificial additives, making it especially appealing to dogs who are particular about their food.
We generally have very limited ingredient recipes, which is really helpful if your dog has lots of sensitivities, or you are trying to do an elimination diet. Our recipes are also formulated without common allergens such as beef, wheat and dairy.
When changing diet, we would suggest making changes slow and gradual over 7-10 days.
With any dietary change it’s not uncommon to see some loose stools and flatulence which can take up to 6 weeks for the digestive system to adapt.
We also offer variety packs, which can provide a good ‘taste test’ if you are unsure where to start.
For some dogs whether they are fussy, not very food orientated, or simply enjoy some variety, changing flavours can help make mealtimes more enjoyable.
Some dogs also tolerate minor dietary changes very well and thrive on products such as our Feel Good variety pack.
These recipes are all very similar, with the main difference being the protein source, for example fish or lamb or chicken.
However if your dog is particularly sensitive, or you are new to Naturediet, then you may need to make any dietary changes slow and gradual over 7-10 days.
