Here what our customers have to say:
Dear Naturediet,
I have been feeding my dog Naturediet for four years now, and have been telling people in my dog training classes about it.
I went to see a lady with a Labrador who was scared of parked cars and people walking past the house for a behavioral consultation, I thought her dog’s diet was to high in protein and rather unbalanced so I told her about Naturediet.
I spoke to her tonight and she is very pleased, the dog is being fed naturediet and she said the dog is 90% improved and loves the food. The improvement was noticeable after about two weeks.
Best regards,
Karen Landon
Thank you for thinking of us and sending us such a perfect
gift. Apart from our medical bills, food is our high expense. With fox
cubs and badger cubs waiting to be released and hedgehog season in full swing
we will make good use of the perfect food.
As I am sure you know we are a small charity that treat, care and rehabilitate
all wildlife that comes to us.
Most of our wildlife comes to us via local vets, individuals and through our
website. Wildlife Aid and other organizations also send us wildlife that needs
immediate care, albeit orphaned creatures or those which have been involved in
some sort of accident and need to be nursed back to health.
We never refuse any living creature and we are often available to go out and
rescue animals from all situations, we are the only rescue centre locally and
our continued work is important as they simply have no one else.
Much of our wildlife when it comes into contact with man obtains injuries that
are not in themselves life threatening. However, in the wild a lack of food and
an inability to protect yourself can, and often does, mean the end.
A creature with a relatively simple injury can rest and be fed and is easily
returned to the wild where it belongs.
We treat a multitude of injuries including serious injuries such as road
traffic accidents and many broken limbs. Again an animal with a broken limb
would be unlikely to survive in the wild.
Last year we treated over 1,500 orphaned or injured creatures and we have
already passed that number this year.Sometimes it is inevitable that some of these wonderful creatures don’t survive
but our success rate is extremely high and we are able to re-introduce them
back into their natural habitat. We are caring for animals that don’t like us
and that are innately scared of us. We have a small group of dedicated
volunteers who help us achieve our goals.
We run from two privately owned sites and we have a “hot room”, intensive
care cages and an area to carry out operations. There are 26 volunteers who
assist in varying roles, amongst these are trained veterinary nurses, wildlife
carers and administration personnel and vets. The dedication of these people
ensures that 100% of all funds raised directly benefit the wildlife that comes
to through our doors. We are not open to the public to view our patients as all
our occupants need to be kept quiet and away from people. We are available
7 days a week all year round for members of the public to bring animals to us
or just to ask advice, if we can help we will.
We regularly go into schools and give talks to try and emphasize and encourage
the importance in caring for our planet and the creatures that inhabit it. We
cover London schools too. This work is essential. These young people are our
next generation, they are our future and we believe their contribution can
ensure the continued existence of our wildlife. We also encourage them to love
our “mini beasts” because without our bugs we wouldn’t be here. We do not
charge for this, for those who wish to contribute we ask for donations of
dog and cat food and towels .
We are in the process of creating a school website to use nationwide. Our
budgets are limited but our enthusiasm and energy is not.
We raise money through fairs and country shows, etc and we are grateful to our
sponsors who support us by regular donations and food. However small it
allows us to continue our work. One sachet of food will feed a baby hedgehog
for a day.
We all enjoy our work here, it is very rewarding and are totally appreciative
of the support we received. Your support has been awesome, thanks again for
thinking of us.
Thanks
Anne

"I have used Naturediet successfully over the past ten years – firstly with my Pointer bitch who had Addisons. She lived until she was 13, which is quite a long time for a dog with Addisons. Secondly I have had to feed my Greyhound bitch on Naturediet for the past four years as she had to have all her teeth out, except for the upper and lower front ones. She is now 11 and showing signs of ageing but seems quite well."

"We have been very pleased with your dog food products. Our two English Springer Spaniels had become very overweight and at 10 and 13 years old respectively, they had become very slow and lacking in vitality. We changed from conventional tinned and dried all in one type food to using your products exclusively. The change in our dogs has been significant. They have lost weight and now run and swim almost as though they had become puppies again."

"I would just like to say thank you so much for producing a safe and healthy nutritious dog food free from chemicals and preservatives. Two years ago Sheba, my now 14 year old Border Collie, was diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the liver, attributed to phenobarbitone prescribed since she was 4 years old to control epilepsy. I managed to slowly get her off the drug and the vet recommended I put her on Royal Canin low protein wet food for dogs with liver disease. However, subsequent blood tests always came back that the liver enzymes had come down very little and were still way up in the 2,000s, showing there was ongoing damage still stressing the liver. Also, some months after going on Royal Canin the blood protein level (Albumen) had dropped to a near dangerous level. I then had to add hard bolied egg whites to each meal to add more protein.
I told my vet I was going to make a homemade diet but he was so against it saying it would be to hard to get the vitamins right that I lost confidence, and spent endless hours on my computer searching for an additive free commercial dog food.
I am so happy to have found Naturediet. I could hardly believe it, as just six weeks after I put my dog on your food I had her liver enzymes laboratory tested and the ALT, ALKP, Albumen, in fact all test results, are within the normal range, it is like a miracle!
Again, thank you so much for creating Naturediet."

"I just wanted to write and say how impressed I am with both your dog food and your ethos as a company.
I am a foster carer for Many Tears Animal Rescue and before Christmas I took on a pregnant German Shepherd with a very sensitive stomach. After months of feeding her white fish with rice I was very concerned at her lack of vitamins and the fact that one of her litter of seven pups seemed to take after her and didn’t seem to tolerate any commercial dog foods. I was given all sorts of advice from a dry dog food company but nothing helped.
Then someone told me about Naturediet. I tried the GSD and pup on it and it was like a miracle cure for bad digestion! They found it quite delicious and I didn’t have to spend hours cooking up food for them and mopping up the loose stools. Both Mum and pup have been rehomed now but are still fed Naturediet as they are doing so well.
When you started to sponsor Many Tears Animal Rescue I was also very impressed by your kindness and generosity. I tell all my dog owning friends about your food now and how you help the dogs at the Rescue Centre and several have switched to your food on principle, as well as the fact that their dogs love it.
I appreciate the fact that you state exactly what is in the pack and there's no “4% meat and animal derivatives” stated on the pack – I will NEVER buy that sort of food again!
I am glad I have found a natural, good quality, convenient dog food at a reasonable price – and one that supports a cause close to my heart.
Please keep up the good work.
Kind regards" - Jenna Chung and Mushu the 3-year-old rescued Papillon
"Hi my Jack Russell has been diabetic for a year and a half now. I feed her Naturediet Lite and her diabetes is now perfectly regulated, thanks." - Cathy in response to our 'Dealing with diabetes article'
"I'm so glad to have found you! Both of my dogs are elderly, one (Misty, a Westie) with chronic colitis, about which I have received lots of good advice from your website and newsletters. Sensitive Diet is a great help. The other, Barkis (a Dandie) recently had a bout of pancreatitis: he too loves Sensitive." - Valerie Shaw
"I would
like to say thank you for creating such a fantastic dog food. I recently found out that my 11 month old pup is allergic to most things contained in dog foods – chicken, peas, barley, corn and wheat.
I really struggled to find him a new food and everything he was eating was making him quite poorly.
After searching for a dry food to no avail and considering a raw food diet I found your dog food. With a large selection of foods he can eat (Lamb, Rabbit and Turkey and White Fish – he is allergic to the Chicken and the salmon and Prawn) I decided to put him on this food. It is incredible – he loves the food he cant wait till breakfast or dinner, his coat is shinier than it has ever been, he is finally putting on weight and best of all he is healthy on it! Absolutely brilliant – We have now moved our other Husky onto this food too – she is a particularly fussy eater but is cleaning her bowl every day.Thank you so much." - Rachel Ezcurra
