Tetra Pak® cartons are widely recyclable in the UK, being primarily made of FSC certified paperboard. The single piece of packaging makes it smaller and more compact meaning less lorries on the road, contributing to a smaller carbon footprint for Naturediet, and in turn, its valuable customers.
Tetra Pak® has its own recycling plant in the UK, enabling its cartons to be remade into everything from roof tiles to toilet roll cores. Their investment in UK recycling means that over 92% of councils collect the cartons, either from the roadside or from recycling centres.

Naturediet uses Calor LPG to fuel our off-mains gas grid manufacturing operations cutting energy costs and the factory’s environmental impact. This in turn, reduces our CO2 emissions. Naturediet also have a flue gas economiser on the factory’s steam boiler which improves thermal efficiency.
In all our recipes we only use the best possible ingredients, all sourced from the UK with 40% procured from East Anglia, close to our Norfolk factory meaning less miles from field to food. All our suppliers are audited by APHA and DEFRA approved.
What makes naturediet unique?
Naturediet is an independent dog food manufacturer and the only dog food company in the UK to manufacture using Tetra Pak®. Whilst other dog food companies may use the packaging, these are produced abroad and shipped to the UK.
In being manufactured in the UK, we are supporting our company ethos and reducing our carbon footprint.
